Kenneth began his career playing with  the English Northern Philharmonia,  the Gagliano string quartet,  the Scottish Ballet orchestra and  the London Mozart Players among others. More recently he has played regularly with  the Orchestre Revolutionaire et Romantique, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the Hanover Band, the English Baroque Soloists, the Academy of Ancient Music, the Orchestra of the 18th Century, the Gabrielli Consort and the New London Consort.
