The Friends were a support group for Musica Donum Dei until December 2016.

The Friends of MDD promoted an appreciation of the music from the 17th and 18th centuries and encouraged public access to Baroque music and the arts, mainly through the Friends’ work in support of MDD.

Most importantly, the Friends supported MDD’s self-promoted concerts by providing funds for additional players, enabling MDD to widen the scope of the music they included in their programmes.
